How PSECU Designed Its First Full-Service Branch
When PSECU decided to construct its first full-service branch in Lemoyne, Pennsylvania, member feedback helped us think about how to best pair our digital-first principles with meaningful in-person experiences.
We wanted to create a space that felt authentically PSECU while addressing member requests. The result is an open layout that mirrors the clean design of our digital platforms. Our interior design elements tie back to our online brand, ensuring members feel the same sense of familiarity whether they’re banking on their phone or walking through our doors.
The covered drive-thru is a first for PSECU and addresses one of our most frequent requests. We also built flexible office spaces that can accommodate loan consultations and wealth management discussions. There’s room for community events, recognizing that branches serve as connection points between the credit union and the communities we serve. Every design decision reinforced the goal of creating a physical space that complements our digital offerings.
In our first month, we opened more than 100 new accounts, nearly matching the previous location’s 2024 total, and month-over-month traffic has increased 250%. Our Lemoyne location has offered a window into the demand for full-service locations and impact of in-person experiences.
