Champions First Credit Union Breaks Ground on New Pensacola Branch
DATE,
October 14, 2025 (Pensacola, Fla.)
– Champions First Credit Union (Champions First) and DEI Incorporated are proud
to announce the upcoming opening of a new Champions First branch in Pensacola,
Fla. The 4,208-square-foot facility, situated on a 0.94-acre site, is designed
to enhance member experience through modern amenities and a welcoming,
community-focused environment. A groundbreaking ceremony with representatives
from Champions First, DEI Inc., and the Greater Pensacola Chamber of Commerce
was held on Thursday, Oct. 2nd to celebrate the opening.
The new branch will feature a spacious two-story lobby with innovative teller pods, a comfortable member lounge café, and a dedicated member services area. Additional facilities include a training room, a state-of-the-art Contact Center, and three convenient drive-thru lanes to serve members efficiently. The branch’s contemporary architectural design and color palette embody the Champions First brand.
Champions First entered the
Pensacola market in 2020 through its merger with Gulf Power Company Employees
Credit Union (GPCECU). Originally established to serve Gulf Power Company
employees, GPCECU’s branch locations were strategically placed near the
company’s facilities. Staff from both original locations will consolidate into
the new, expanded branch positioned to more effectively serve the greater
Pensacola area.
“We’re thrilled for the opportunity to
continue delivering exceptional service to our members and the Pensacola
community through a modern, expanded branch in a more convenient location,”
said Chuck Adcock, President and CEO of Champions First Credit Union.
The new branch will be located at 19
Littleton St. off Nine Mile Rd. in Pensacola and is expected to open late Q1 or
early Q2 of 2026.
