Financial Center Expands to Hancock County with $1.5M McCordsville Branch

McCordsville, IN – Financial Center is proud to announce the opening of its newest full-service branch in McCordsville, located at 8900 N. 600 W. This new location marks a strategic relocation of the Geist Branch, bringing greater access, convenience, and service to members in one of Indiana’s fastest-growing communities.

The McCordsville branch represents a $1.5 million investment in the eastern Indianapolis area and will serve existing and future Hancock County members in McCordsville, Fishers, Greenfield, and the surrounding neighborhoods. The project was led by Cincinnati-based DEI Design & Build, with support from a large number of local subcontractors – reinforcing Financial Center’s commitment to building stronger communities and supporting Indiana’s economy.

“As McCordsville grows, so do the needs of our members,” said Kevin Ryan, Interim President & CEO of Financial Center. “We’re proud to bring a state-of-the-art banking experience to this rapidly expanding area – and even prouder that we’re doing it with the same friendly faces that have served our Geist area members for many years.”
The new location features modern design elements and technology-forward banking solutions, including drive-up Interactive Teller Machines (ITMs) that allow members to conduct most transactions from the convenience of their vehicles via live video teller support. As part of the nationwide shared branching network of over 5,000 branches, this location will also continue to support members from other credit unions.

The new branch allows Financial Center to better serve a growing membership base while staying rooted in the local community. Members will find a coffee bar, an education library, and a team of trusted financial coaches – now in a larger, more accessible space near the new McCordsville BMV and Leo’s Market.

Coralis Jordan, McCordsville Branch Manager, added, “This branch is designed with our members in mind – it’s welcoming, convenient, and ready for growth. We look forward to continuing the relationships we’ve built and starting new ones in this community.”
The branch opened on Monday, September 15 and a ribbon cutting was held with local community and government leaders on Monday, September 29.
